Annette is a native of Greenville, Mississippi and attended Louisiana State University.  Annette moved to Charleston, WV, in 1967 and founded and operated Kitchen Kaboodle, and the Placesetter in the 1970s, establishing herself as an entrepreneur and business woman for more than 10 years.  After relocating to SC and achieving her real estate license, in 1987 she then moved to Atlanta, Georgia working as a legal secretary for 15 years.
